Description
This is a high-end Model 130 Regal bowl-back mandolin in playable condition-perfectly straight neck and low action. That is a new set of Dogal Calace dolche strings that I just installed. There is wear on the first five frets and finish wear to the top as shown. There the slightest rise by the soundhole under the pickguard (which is raising on the edges). There is a tiny shrinkage crack on the fretboard from the 12th fret to the end of the fretboard binding. There! That's everything that a prospective buyer may mention. This mandolin is over 100+ years old and in outrageous condition. There are NO cracks or repaired cracks on the back or sides, the binding is tight and uncracked, the tuners work smoothly, and the original Handel buttons are perfect (how pricey are they on a Gibson??). Sorry about the label picture, but has the production notice and the leather Regal logo are great shape. Only two of the three straps of the case hold and are delicate: one end of the handle strap is broken. All of these issues could be repaired and the case is so wonderful that it should be done. I will send addition pictures, if desired, or answer any questions about this instrument.
