VINTAGE BANDURRIA BY ANGEL B LUMANOG C 1900 MANDOLIN FAMILY

Antique Bandurria, a rare instrument. C1900  I was told this was a sought after maker. Label inside.
The bandurria is a plucked chordophone from Spain, similar to the mandolin, primarily used in Spanish folk music, but also found in former Spanish colonies. This one was made by a well know maker who had a store in Texas. Someone over the years has removed the back and rebraced it inside. All the strings are there and it plays will need some light fret work on first fret as it frets there in places. Neck is straight. When they put the back on they lost some of the trim. not a great job but it is solid. I have done nothing to this instrument will need completely gone over.
